Description - Hostel

Casa Chipi Chipi is a truly unique and authentic hostel house in the centre of the old town of Cartagena: Getsemaní, named as one the hottest spots to visit when in Cartagena. Recently renovated, this relax Casa Hostel is brand-new and located in a quiet street. It’s not a party hostel and it provides a safe and secure place where backpackers can chill (even work) or update their travel journeys and adventures.

The hostel offers 4 private rooms with airco and television, a women-only dorm of 6 beds and a large dorm of 10 beds. A kitchen, fridge, coffee machine, etc. At the guest house, each visitor gets a personal locker too. At Casa Chipi Chipi Hostel you will also find a restaurant serving Belgian-Caribbean cuisine. A vegetarian option can also be requested. Speaking English, Spanish and French at the 24-hour front desk, staff are always at hand to help. We speak your language!

How to get to Casa Chipi Chipi from the airport: 2 options
  With a small bag you can take a Transcaribe Bus which is the principal and public transport service of the town, until the nearest station of the hostel (Centro), from there it´s a 3 min walk. It’s cheap (2300 COP) and safe.
  If you’re traveling with a larger backpack or case then it’s recommended to grab a regular yellow taxi (12000 COP) directly to the Hostal (Getsemani - Calle de las Tortugas).
